KIM Deasung
김대성
김대성은 어린 시절의 상상 세계를 현재형으로 불러내는 문이다. 금속의 조형에는 형형색색의 그러데이션으로 흐르고, 달동네의 밤바람, 골목 끝 달빛, 그리고 상상의 길잡이인 토끼와 현실에 발 딛는 쉐도우맨은 현실과 환상의 경계를 가볍게 넘나든다. 그의 색은 관객을 현실과 환상 사이의 작은 문턱으로 데려가, 잃어버린 동심의 온도를 다시 느끼게 한다.
Daesung Kim’s work is a doorway that calls the imaginative world of childhood into the present. His metallic forms flow with vivid, multicolored gradients, and the night breeze of hillside neighborhoods, the moonlight at the end of an alley, the rabbit that guides imagination, and the Shadow Man grounded in reality, all slip lightly across the boundary between fantasy and the real. His color leads viewers to the small threshold between the two, letting them feel again the warmth of a child’s heart once lost.
