조희정
나무를 조각하고 페인팅하여 원근감이 강조된 풍경을 부조형식의 작품으로 완성하였습니다.
나무의 따뜻한 성질과 입체적인 조각에 화려한 색채가 더해지면서 벽에 걸 수 있는 조각품이면서 동시에 입체적인 페인팅이 완성되었습니다.
제가 살고 있는 도시의 풍경들을 주관적인 시선으로 재해석하고, 3차원 공간의 착시 현상을 더해 일상의 삶에서 일어나는 감정들을 공유하고자 했습니다.
사소한 일상으로부터의 새로운 발견과 상상들은 어려운 철학적인 화두를 던지는것 보다 더욱 강력하고 감동적이라고 생각합니다. 각자의 일상 공간들에서 느낄수 있는 공감에 대해 표현하고 위로가 될수 있는 작품을 만들고자 합니다.
I carved and painted wood to create a landscape artwork in relief form, with an emphasis on perspective.
The warm nature of the wood, combined with its dimensional sculpting and vibrant colors, resulted in a piece that functions both as a wall-mounted sculpture and as a three-dimensional painting.
I reinterpreted the landscapes of the city I live in through a subjective lens, adding illusions of three-dimensional space to share the emotions that arise in everyday life.
I believe that discoveries and imaginations born from ordinary moments can be more powerful and moving than posing difficult philosophical questions.
Through my work, I hope to express a sense of shared empathy found in our personal spaces and to offer comfort.
